This is a recent issue that started to happen to some users, after the Chrome 68 update. You may be having trouble accessing a website's cPanel where no valid SSL certificate has been enabled.
So far we have been able to identify this problem with "FortiGuard" running on a Mac OSX computer.
If you are receiving an error message such as "Page not Secure" or "Page Timed Out", a completely "blank" page or some other variation of not being able to access the cpanel page at all, chances are you are being blocked or redirected by a third party program or proxy.
If you do not recall installing an Internet Security software suite, it may be linked to your Parental Control settings either on router or system level.
Assuming you enabled it yourself on either choice, you will need to create an exception for your specific domain, IP, temp-url link and/or specific server your account is hosted on.
If you are sure you didn't enable either of these, then it is possible your Internet Service Provider setup these settings at router level. In this case, you will need to speak to your provider to change these settings, if they have client access restricted.
If neither of those is the case, then it is possible you have an infected computer and you need to clean it up from viruses and other malware. Disconnect it from the network, reboot in safe mode and run all necessary scans. You may also submit your system to your technician/tech center of choice.
Other Solutions:
If you have a valid SSL certificate installed, try accessing your server using one of the following choices:
- "https://yourdomain.name/cpanel" -> easiest to remember
- "https://yourdomain.name:2083" -> notice it is 2083 for secure, 2082 for non-secure
If you do NOT have a valid SSL certificate installed, try accessing the main server directly:
- "https://your.server.name/cpanel" -> example: md-79.server.name
- "https://your.server.name:2083" -> both options are "always secure"
You may also use your "Temp URL" with http:// and either the cpanel or 2082 variations, but to use the "Secure" ports, you must have a valid SSL Certificate installed.
Your "Temp URL" will always be "yourdomain.name.your.server.name" to make it easy to remember.
Please keep in mind that if you do NOT have a Valid SSL Certificate, all web browsers after July 2018 will start giving you a "not-secure" message. We highly recommend you purchase and enable an SSL certificate to your account to avoid these errors beyond our control.
Other causes:
If you are able to access your cpanel, but it looks all garbled or as if it had a lot of messed up code, it is possible you have run out of storage space.
This often happens when you keep storing your email on the web server and fail to delete it. As a reminder, please make sure you delete all old email from your server account. The space is reserved primarily for website data and allow for common email flow through with enough leeway. Using the server as an email storage medium is a violation of the terms of service.
If your mail data is too large on the server, you must download your email via POP3 protocol and select the option to not keep a copy on the server (or just for a limited time). If you wish to use our services exclusively for email storage, we recommend using our Corporate Email accounts. Contact us for more information on these services.

So far we have only had a report of access failure from one client with "FortiGuard" on OSX.
