If you are having trouble accessing your Dedicated or Virtual Private Server via ping or other methods, but your server shows as online via the remote console, it is possible that your firewall rules are causing an issue.
For this, you will need to reset your IPTABLES settings.
When the cause of the issue seems to be firewall rules blocking the connection, follow the procedure below to help you solve this issue:
Access your VNC console via the Server Management Panel:
1: Login and access myBZV Account > My Services
2: Locate your server on the list and click on the Active button next to it.
3: Have your password ready and click on the Server Management button.
4: In the Server Management Panel click on Get VNC Access link and enter the code below to reset your IPTABLES.
Commands to allow SSH access on iptables:

iptables -I INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 22 -j ACCEPT
/etc/init.d/iptables save
/etc/init.d/iptables restart
> Note: If you have setup a custom SSH port, please replace 22 with that SSH port number.
> Note: If the password is not working or you changed password and don't recall it, contact us to reset it.

In the event that the above solution fails, we will have to take down the server and boot into rescue mode for fixing this issue. The downtime, should that be the case, will last only a few minutes starting from the moment our technician on duty handles the request.
To ensure the above doesn't happen, please try to not create contradicting firewall rules that could lock you out of your server.
